🔅 WORKSHOP PROGRAM 🔅 The workshop starts with a fun warm-up clay game to bring everyone together and help you get acquainted with the wonderful material we'll be working with. We’ll then guide you through the basic steps of centering clay on the wheel head and how to transform it into a functional piece, an amazing candle holder! Please expect a learning experience rather than grandiose finished results, as this technique on the potter's wheel is challenging and takes time to master! This workshop will give beginners a great introduction to this incredible craft. (If you're looking for more secure final results, please check out our Hand-Building introduction course instead). The last 15 minutes of the workshop are dedicated to cleaning up. 🔅 FINAL PIECES 🔅 At the end, you’ll each get to choose two candle holders to be fired. The glazing process will be handled by our staff, as it cannot be done the same day (the work needs to be fired once first). We will use a clear shiny glaze so your work is clean, bright, and ready for proud use. Your finished pieces will be available for pickup two to three weeks after the workshop. 🔅 LANGUAGE 🔅 Workshop in English, but it can also be conducted in French or Dutch depending on staff availability. 🔅 MINIMUM AGE 🔅 Suitable for participants aged 8 and up. 🔅 PRICE 🔅 The cost of the workshop is calculated as a base fee plus €35 per participant. The base fee depends on the time of your booking and the number of participants: 👉 Weekday Business Hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM) 👈 Base fee: €150 to €170 Each additional participant: €35 Examples: 2 participants: €170 (base fee) + (€35 x 2) = €240 3 participants: €160 (base fee) + (€35 x 3) = €265 4 participants: €150 (base fee) + (€35 x 4) = €290 5 participants: €150 (base fee) + (€35 x 5) = €325 Etc. 👉 Weekday Evenings & Weekends 👈 Base fee: €170 to €190 Each additional participant: €35 Examples: 2 participants: €190 (base fee) + (€35 x 2) = €260 3 participants: €180 (base fee) + (€35 x 3) = €285 4 participants: €170 (base fee) + (€35 x 4) = €310 5 participants: €170 (base fee) + (€35 x 5) = €345 🔅 DATE 🔅 Choose the ideal date and time on our calendar by pressing the 'REQUEST TO BOOK' button (minimum 2 weeks in advance!). We will get back to you as soon as possible by email to confirm if the date is available. Once confirmed, we will request a pre-payment to finalize your booking. We understand that plans can change, and sometimes it may be necessary to cancel your workshop registration. To ensure fairness to both our students and instructors, the following cancellation policy applies: 🥝 1. Cancellation Requests : All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@studio-kiwi.com 🥝 2. Refund Policy : 🔸 Up to 1 week before the workshop start date: You will receive a full refund of the workshop fees minus a processing fee of 5%. 🔸Within 1 week of the course start date : No refunds of your deposit will be issued for cancellations made. 🥝 3. Course Cancellations by Studio Kiwi : In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund of the course fees. We will also make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and find a new date for the workshop. By registering for a course, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this cancellation policy.
